Wasn't it too long ago, when as a kid, life was simple and fun, where happiness revolved around hide-and-seek and running in the field?
When people annoyed you and the best retort you could come up with was "don't friend you"? When you confided in friends without any worries?
Wasn't it too long ago, when as a teenager, life was exciting and hectic, where being with close friends meant everything in the world to you? Skipping lessons, missing tuition, just because hanging out meant more to you than before?
What has life became? Doubts of others, insecurity of self, unhappiness with partners, all hidden in one self. Where happiness has slowly disintegrated to revolve primarily about money. Where you thought twice about sharing your worries.
Life is complex. Life is hard.
Can I go back to the times when I was still a kid, and happiness was candy defined?
